✔Permits
We follow all city codes and secure all necessary permits for your project.
✔ Physical Location
We have a brick and mortar physical location which has our office and showroom. 1309 W. HWY 50 in O’Fallon, IL (across from Sam's Club and Hardee's). Be careful of the contractor who has their office in their truck, home or apartment. Be very leery of a contractor who does not have the working capital to afford an office. How will these companies cover a warranty issue?
✔ Best Practices
FM Roofing & Exteriors follows industry standards for all of our applications. We follow manufacturer suggested procedures and the National Roofing Contractors Association (N.R.C.A.) guidelines for all our jobs.
✔ References
We will provide several references of happy customers and their addresses. Give them a call or take a drive by and see our finished projects. We really encourage you to check them out for yourself.
✔ Clear Communication
Our staff includes full time production specialists who are at your service should you have any questions or concerns about your job. We offer 24 hour emergency service.
✔ Ventilation Inspection
We understand the minimum square inches of ventilation that N.R.C.A. code requires. Homes should have at least 144 square inches of ventilation per 300 square feet of attic space, both for intake and for exhaust. This will prevent mold, keep insulation dry, and reduce heating and cooling costs. In addition we visually inspect all vents, making sure you do not have open vents and gable vents used in conjunction with a ridge vent.
✔ Free Architectural Upgrade
FM Roofing & Exteriors offers Atlas Corporation Pinnacle Series Architectural shingles as a free upgrade for all our restoration projects.
✔ Decking Assurance
Per N.R.C.A. guidelines, we visually inspect your home’s decking (sheathing) making sure there is a nail-able surface to fasten your felt paper and shingles to. Most insurance companies do not pay for this cost (decking), as it is usually not storm related. We add this to our contract so there are no surprises at the end of our projects.
✔Written Change Orders
FM Roofing & Exteriors uses a written change order format for all addendums to your project as required.
✔5 YEAR WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY
From 5 years to the date of installation, the roofing materials and accessories are warranted 100% to be free from workmanship defects that might result in leaking.
✔ Customer Respect Agreement with Senior Inspectors
Our Senior Inspectors sign an agreement stating that we will work in a respectful, polite, and professional manor. You have our word that we are professionals.
✔ Job-site Clean Up Standards
All of our installers pledge daily clean up. In addition, we have full time production staff whose sole responsibility is cleaning our job-sites after our installers have finished, ensuring your property will be in the same manner it was before we started your project.
